Robert, Richard, and Randy Thompson, owners, are native to Abilene and are all avid outdoorsman and they have a strong connection to their land. They own over 700 acres of prime dove habitat so they both decided to start True Grit Outfitters, and are booking hunts for this upcoming dove season now. The acreage is located 30 miles outside of Abilene Texas in the beautiful serenity of West Texas. The land is perfect for doves and the habitat is ideal for migration stops and nesting and feeding.
